  2. The Problem • Boundaries and limitations to free flow of ideas hindered communication and collaboration • By the time information was dispersed it was out-dated • Public access, causing people to edit in anyway they want, whether factual or not

  3. Purpose • Provide a controlled environment where students and teachers could exchange information • “creation of effective learning environments” (Klien, 2008, p.13). • Create a site that provided ease of use and a central location of information.

  4. The Solution • Develop a space where educators and students can safely share information and communicate • Cost effective and basic • Controlled by teacher

  5. Outcomes • “an average nine-point gain in test scores and student achievement” (Klein, 2008, p. 15). • Website is ever evolving as students and teachers are constantly finding new ways to use it. • Allows for the exchange of information between the different communities in the district.
