For God and Country Jimmy Lee Martin 1st Vice Cdr -Membership is looking good. I encourage everyone to renew as soon as you can. It helps the Post look good that we can meet goals that are set down from those higher than us. Post the calendar on your fridge or somewhere convenient because things are going to be happen pretty fast from now until the end of the year. With the help of Marsha Martin we are going to raffle off five (5) $100 VISA gift cards on Veterans Day. Tickets will be 1 for $10. Also this year we are again going to have our “Sponsor a Service Member” drive. Those Legionnaires wishing to sponsor, cost will be $25 per individual. This is a great chance for us to not only build our membership, but also to let these young service members know what the American Legion does for them on a daily basis. This program was a success last year and I don’t expect it to be any less this year. We are having our Membership Appreciation Day on Sun 23 Oct 11. Let’s not forget all the Holidays and functions coming up. Please support your Post. For God and Country - Mouse.
