HOT & COLD WATER SYSTEMS A boiler with a cold water header and hot water storage tanks can be used to heat a house. Alternatively, a combination (“combi”) boiler may be used. Combi boilers are suitable for small dwellings, and simultaneously supply hot water for heating and sinks / taps.

HOT & COLD WATER SYSTEMS Under-floor heating can also be used to heat a building. Hot water is pumped through pipes which are set into the floor screed. As heat rises, it warms the floor slab and the air in the room.
