  2. Summary Effect The key players: conspirators: Lewis Powell, David Herold , George Atzerodt, Mary Surrat . PLOT-Involved killing more people who were in office . Lincoln gave a speech outside of the White House . Though the speech mentioned many things the part about giving some blacks freedom angered Booth . Rather than to kidnap Lincoln he ended up assassinating him . In result of the killing of Lincoln on April 14 , 1865 a famous actor named John Wilkes Booth shot President Lincoln in the back of the head at Ford’s Theatre.

  3. Fact: Lincoln one week before his death had a dream of someone crying in the White House, When he found the room, he looked in and asked who had passed away. The man in the room said the President when he looked into the coffin it was his own face.
