Operational Concepts • The Travel Buddy is essentially a conversion tool for use while traveling internationally. • It can quickly make basic conversions such as distance, speed, and weight. • In addition, the Travel Buddy can provide local information including date and time, weather, up-to-date currency conversions, and language translations.

  4. System and Software Architecture Basic Conversions: • Travel Buddy will have its own conversion table to perform simple calculations. This will eliminate the dependency on another website. Currency, Translator, Local Information: • Travel Buddy will access an outside website to gather this information. This information is much more complex than simple conversions, therefore we will take advantage of services provided on the Internet.
