  2. My State My state is Minnesota, or also known as The Northern Star State. Abbreviations for Minnesota is MN. Minn. U.S.-MN

  3. Large Cities and Population The largest city in Minnesota is Minneapolis. The state capital in Saint Paul. The population 5,197,621. This was taken in 2007. What it ranks in the U.S. population is 31st.

Thy sons are strong and true. From thy wonder and water fair, from thy prairies waving far, at thy call they throng, with their shouts and songs, hailing thee their northern star!!!
