  4. DEFINICIÓN • Género narrativo aparecido en España en el siglo XIX. • Sus antecedentes más remotos hay que buscarlos en las grandes obras novelísticas del Siglo de Oro: El Quijote, Lazarillo de Tormes, El Buscón.

  5. MARCO HISTÓRICO • El Realismo surgió en Francia en la primera mitad del XIX. Se inició con autores como Balzac y Stendhal, y se desarrolló con Flaubert (Madame Bovary). • En España, surgió hacia1870 y tuvo su apogeo enla década de 1880.

  6. ALGO DE HISTORIA… • Realismo literario puede entenderse de 2 modos: • Como una TENDENCIA de obras con características realistas. Ejemplos: obras medievales ( el Cantar del Mio Cid, el Libro del buen amor, la Celestina).

  7. 2. MOVIMIENTO LITERARIO = REALISMO, siglo XIX.

  13. CARACTERÍSTICAS • 1. PROTAGONISTA REALISTA: de la vida cotidiana, comportamiento ajustado a la época. • 2. ACCIÓN: similar a la de la vida humana. • 3. NARRADOR OMNISCIENTE: en 3ª persona ofrece veracidad, objetividad.

  14. CARACTERÍSTICAS • 4. DESCRIPCIONES REALISTAS: de lugares, de personajes… • 5. DIÁLOGOS: dan mayor credibilidad a la novela
