Monitor • Displays what you have requested from the CPU • Two Types • Flat LCD or LED • Box Design
Removable Media • Storage that can be moved from computer to computer • Types Include: • CD (Compact Disk [DVD/Blu Ray]) • Memory Card • USB flash drive
Printer • Creates a representation of the text or media on paper • Two basic types • Black and White laser • Color inkjet • Easy installation
Audio Output • Speakers may be plugged into the green plug in order to hear sound from the computer. • Headphones may also be plugged into the green plug.
How do I turn the thing on! • Turn on the computer • Turn on the monitor • Turn on the CPU • Wait • Log on with the ID and password, if they are needed

Move Stuff Around • Employ the mouse • Drag an icon on the desktop
Create a Folder • Right click on the desktop • Go to new and allow the arrow to expand • Select folder • Begin typing the name with the folder words highlighted • Click off the folder once you have completed the name
Create a Word Document • Create the document • Click the Window Icon • Go to all Programs
Create a Word Document • Go to Microsoft Office • Click on Microsoft Office Word
Save a Copy • Move cursor to the “save as” • Select the “Word Document” option
