  5. Assignment 08:Present a treatment fora game Create a treatment Update your journal as you work Post the treatment on your Web page Print a copy of your treatment Present your treatment in class

Objective 1:Create a treatment • Design requirements • Must meets the definition of a game • Must be designed for exactly one or two players. • If two players, both on the samecomputer • No custom audio. Use only library sounds • Must run without breaking or errors • Must follow The Rules • Must be entirely self-documenting

  7. Objective 1:Create a treatment • Required document elements • 1. Team name / members / logins • 2. Title (can be changed later) • 3. One-sentence tagline: Capture the “promise” • 4. One-paragraph summary and bulleted feature list • 5. Gameplay description with 3 screen mockups • 6. Ending: How does the game conclude? • 7. Project plan: Who will do what by when? • Label each element clearly

Objective 1:Create a treatment • Document requirements • At least six full pages long • I am so easy on you people! • Any mix of text and images • But all required elements must be present! • Expect to write about 1,000 words • Extra credit? • Team/game logos, extra screen shots, etc • Do not pad document with XL text/images • or white space

  11. Objective 3:Post your treatment onyour web page Save document in Word-compatible format Create a .zip or .rar archive of document Upload archive file to your Web site Create a clearly labeled link that downloads the archive when clicked Post before noon this Monday 11.19

  12. Objective 4:Print a copy of yourtreatment Black and white is okay Bind pages together (paper clip okay) Bring printed document to class on Monday 11.19 for collection

Both team members should talk Rehearse your presentation You can run it three times in just 20 minutes! No more than five minutes Feel free to show code running if you have any
