Love can be defined in many ways; There is also a difference between love, lust, and infatuation.
Line Experiment How to participate? • Outside the classroom is a line; everyone will line up with their backs against each of the lockers. • I will read a statement; if the statement applies to you, then you SILENTLY step on the line. • You will stay on the line until I say you should step off the line.
Example • If I say, “I am wearing jeans today.” • Then, everyone wearing jeans will step on the line • I will then say, “Thank you, please step back to your place.” • Everyone wearing jeans will then step back into the place they were before.
Respect & Honesty • EVERYONE should be silent as soon as they step outside the door. • If there is anyone that says anything disrespectful (or reacts in a way that is disrespectful), then we will end the activity right away. • If you choose to participate in this activity, then you will be honest with yourself and the rest of us. THIS IS A SAFE PLACE!!!! MAKE IT SO!!!!
QUestions • How did this make you feel? • What understandings of your own views of love did you come up with? • Do you view love differently than before? • Is there a difference between love, lust and infatuation? If so, what are the differences?
