  1. Our Research question:How could we improve the conditions and games on the yard? We have put together a Power Point on how we improved our yard.

  2. Our method:We asked children questions using a questionnaire thenwe tallied our results! 1. We have done questionnaires to find out what the students of our school thought of the yard already and what they wanted to improve! 2. We made questionnaires and asked 2 boys and 2 girls from each class (except year 1 and reception). 3. We got some pictures of some of the yard markings that we could have on the yard and the children had stickers to put next to the ones that they like. The most popular ones on the sheet then would be put on the yard. During January we did all this and asked the children the questionnaires!

  3. OUR RESULTS We have found out that the yard was boring, ok, fun, very fun and amazing. Ok was most popular one out of all of them! What do you think of the yard?

  4. Would you like to improve the yard? This is the percentage of yes and no! We found that all of the children that we asked wanted to improve the yard.

  5. What do you want on the yard to be improved? • The timber trail was already improved by the climbing wall, and the games we already had, so markings was our chosen one.

  6. THESE ARE SOME of the PICTURES the children chose.

  7. CONCLUSION Now we have got new markings on the yard that the children have been using. To our surprise they have enjoyed the new markings very much. We believe we have improved the school because usually the older children would get the toys first so now all the children have something to do on the yard that is equally exciting and fun!
