  4. Benefits of the Spread • Using multiple receivers to spread out the defense opens lanes for the pass and run games.

  6. Oregon ducks • One of the most notable spread offenses in the country. • During last years BCS Championship game, they ran a play about every 13 seconds. • Named the fastest football team in the NCAA. • #6 team in the nation in total offense.
