  2. How to use it • Diigo is a free social bookmarking, research, and knowledge sharing tool  created to mimic the ease of taking notes while providing a network for  sharing and discovering information.   

  3. What Does Diigo Do?  • Diigo allows you to take personal notes and  highlight text information on web pages just as you • would on a piece of paper.   • You can then bookmark and save this information for further review, while adding tags to keep everything organized. • In bookmarking this information, you  • can also choose to share with colleagues and friends to allow them to access the web page,  • view your notes and highlights, and add their own annotations.  •  All of this information is also  • saved online and can be accessed by any  computer or browser, including cell phones with  • browsing capabilities. 

  4. HOW TO USE IT Find an article you want to highlight or take notes on and go to your Favorites to start the Diigolettoolbar – it will appear on the top of the web page. 2. To add the page to your library click on Bookmark and this menu will pop up. Give the page a title and add a description and tags if you want. 3. When you click on Highlight a highlighting cursor will appear that allows you to highlight text on the page. This highlighted text will then appear with the bookmark for the page in your library. 4. To add a note, click on Floating Sticky Note. This allows you to make notes to yourself about things you want to remember, bright ideas that occur to you, plans for how to use the information, etc. 5. When you go back to your library, the sites you bookmarked will appear along with your highlights and notes. If you added tags to the sites you bookmarked you can easily organize by topic selecting tags under My Tags.

  5. WHY I CHOSE THIS TOOL. I chose this tool because, I never heard of it before. When I looked more into it, I found it quiet interesting. This being so because Diigo allows you to bookmark feature from any device or web browser you use. Allows you to email links and notes to your regular email. In which you can use for homework, presentations and many other educated sources.

  6. HOW I CAN USE THIS TOOL IN My MAJOR. I can use Diigo in my major for certain research papers. I can use Diigo to learn more about my major on m own time. I can become more organized and focused on the task at hand.

  7. How Can I use this tool at Stockton? I can use this tool to dramatically improve my workflow and productivity as well as using it as a source to become more organized. I can also use this tool to gain knowledge and use it in my everyday life. Diigo can help me obtain the knowledge I need not only pass my classes but to excel in them as well.
