3. iPad Usage Agreement • The iPad is the property of Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont • It is intended for educational use • Usage is a privilege • Supports the learning environment

4. iPad Policies: Expectations • Bring your charged iPad to schoolevery day • Don’t share it • Keep it in the bag when not in use and when transporting it • Treat it as if it were your own

5. iPad Policies: Conduct • Student code of conduct applies in the digital world • Do not deface the iPad or the bag • iPad is subject to inspection at any time

6. iPad Policies: Apps • Pre-loaded apps and content are owned by the school district • Students are not permitted to load their own apps

7. iPad Policies (Parents) • Monitor students at home • Read and follow the guidelines in the Acceptable Use Policies (AUP) • Know your student’s passwords • Have them show you what they are doing in class

8. iPad Policies: Dropbox • i-cloud use is only for students with Apple ID’s (apple ids are for students 13 and older only) • Dropbox storage of personal files is encouraged • Dropbox storage will use the school issued e-mail • Google Drive storage will use the school issued e-mail

9. iPad: Theft Protection • Keep your iPad under your control atall times • Don’t leave it in a car or on top of your locker • You could be liable for loss

10. Loss & Theft • If an i-pad is lost or stolen it needs to be reported to the classroom teacher and/or the building principal immediately. • No i-pad should be left in an unsupervised area. (If an i-pad is found in an unsupervised area, it will be taken to the office and dealt with as a disciplinary matter.)

29. THE APP iPad Tips: Quit App • To Quit an App • Press “home” button twice (quickly) • “Open” Apps will appear at bottom of screen • Touch and hold on an App until red dot with minus sign appears • Press on red dot, App will close

30. Receiving your iPad • i-pads will go home when the student’s teacher has all signed AUP’s and have gone over take home procedures with the students. (student and parent signatures required)
