Achievement Orientation • Achievement orientation is a drive to accomplish one's goals and to meet or exceed a high standard of success. • Achievement-oriented people often want to do things better or more efficiently than they have been done in the past.
Achievement Orientation • It means having the drive and passion to accomplish goals, excel in all you do, and be successful. • These individuals that fall within this category are always striving to improve their work and be more efficient.
Achievement Orientation • They want to see results and do better than others. • Lastly, they often set high goals and standards and work hard to achieve them.
Achievement Orientation • As you might expect, achievement orientation is about getting results. • It can be about working towards excellence; or a personal desire to do better than you did last time or to do better than others.
Achievement Orientation • People who are achievement oriented set high standards. • They take time to think about how well they have done something and look for new and better ways to improve their skills and performance.
