  1. After 2015: the challenge of 00 For 0 only at high energy (e.g. SPS) the required 0 rejectioncan be achieved without imposing severe acceptance cuts. Mastering the NA62 technique to study + in-flight opens the way to future 0 measurements at CERN SPS. The reason is that CP limits the branching ratio for the background KL00 to 10-3, 200 times less than in the charge mode. With present NA62 K0 flux, ~15 events expected in ~3 years since neutral beam cannot be focused - similar (or slightly better) sensitivity to current JPARC/KOTO. Foreseen SPS upgrade will remove current limitation on proton flux accessible to NA62- higher sensitivity than JPARC will be achievable.

  2. NA62-UK resources and spending profile • average of 7.3 FTE/year, of which: • 1.6 FTE/year are academics • 3.6 FTE/year are researchers/technicians • 2.1 FTE are ‘new resources’
