Company profile OSIVOj.s.c. with its seat in Zvolen town in central Slovakia, is the leading seed company in Slovakia with nearly 60 years tradition in certified seed business, services and consulting. As a private seed company, we can contribute with our know-how covering close cooperation concerning to varieties with breeders – both domestic and foreign, production and supply of certified seed only and agronomist service to our contractual farmers.

  3. Certified seed production is our core activity. Our assortment consists of certified seeds of: • Cereals - malting and feeding barley, soft and durum wheat, rye, hybrid rye and triticale • Oil plants - sunflower, rape, flax, mustard and soya bean plant • Legumes – pea, forage pea, vetch, lentils and lupines • Clovers and grasses • Potatoes • Single year crops: Sudanese sorghum, phacelia tanacetifolia and radish For varieties descriptions please visit our webpage at www.osivo.sk

MALT project background MALT project came into being in order to connect together all subjects that enter the realization of barley and malt from breeder, certified seed producer, farmer, mercantile seller, Malt house and finally to the brewery industry. Implemented project allows creation of close links between participated parties and ensure them information, requirements and advices transfer related to every single aspect of production that might appear.
