  1. A COMPLETE SENTENCE MUST HAVE A SUBJECT (a proper, abstract, concrete noun or pronoun) A VERB (runs, is jumping, has seen, will be driving) AND BE ABLE TO STAND ALONE * NO SUBORDINATOR (DEPENDENT WORD, like because, when, though) * NO HIDDEN DEPENDENT WORD (WHO, WHICH, THAT, WHEN, WHERE)

  2. To show the sentence is over, you can add a PERIOD.

  3. My brother enjoys mangoes . He doesn’t like bananas . Although he works at Taco Bell , he is studying for a degree in engineering . My professor is strict about attendance she counts every tardy as half an absence.

  4. Tigren is milking the cows. Mercedes feeding the chickens. Vanessa, who is plowing the field. Although Ryan is fixing the tractor. Veronica over there across the hayfield.
