  1. MISSION HEARTBEAT THE GOD OF Luke 19:10 “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

  2. Introduction WHAT MAKES MISSION THE HEARTBEAT OF GOD? Luke 19:10, “for the Son of Man is to come…” The word “come”refers to God’s appointed time in reaching and saving the sinners through the coming of the Lord.Gal. 4:4, Matt. 1:21; Lk. 19:10 The song says: “Joy to the world, the Lord is come.”2 Corinthians 6:1-2 When you found the way, you feel JOY but when you lost your way, there is SADNESS. Prov. 14:12

  5. HOW AND WHY MAN BECAME LOST? Gen. 2:16-18The Command of God. Gen. 3The Test, the Temptation and the Total Destructionof man. Eating the forbidden fruit leads them to commit the SIN OF DISOBEDIENCE to GOD that caused the lostness of man I. THE CONDITION: THE LOSTNESS OF MAN

  7. Romans 6:23 Gen 2:17 “thou shall not eat” it is the strongest Hebrew form of prohibition. Upon the violation, the Lord said, “in the day thou eatest thereof, thou shalt surely die.” The construction emphasized in the strongest way of certainty of the consequence of death upon eating. II. THE CONSEQUENCE: THE LOSTNESS OF MAN

Rev. 28:15 Statistics of DEATH: • 10,800 people died every minute • 129,600 people died every hour • 259,000 people died every 24 hrs. How many people died without Christ in their hearts? The only way that people can be saved is through preaching and sharing the Word of God.Romans 10:17 II. THE CONSEQUENCE: THE LOSTNESS OF MAN

Rom. 5:8 • His compassion toward us. Matt. 9:36 • His grace toward us. Eph. 2:8 • His great commission toward us. Matt. 28:19-20 III. THE CONCERN: THE HEARTBEAT OF GOD

Conclusion Do you understand the Lostness of Man? “It is impossible for the lost man to save himself but nothing is impossible for God.” DO YOU SHARE THE HEARTBEAT OF GOD FOR THE LOST ONES? • 67.9 % of 7 billion people in the world are lost • 24.8% of 7 billion people in the world are Christians • 7.8 % of 7 billion people in the world are evangelicals • 91.2% of Asia are living in darkness
