  2. Aplomb(noun) -self-confident in a difficult situation Synonym-brave Antonyms-coward The person with aplomb was the most daring out of the group.

  3. Apprehensive(adj.) -Anxious or fearful; uneasy Synonym-afraid Antonym- confident Danny was very apprehensive when he confronted the bully.

  4. Fragrance(noun) -a sweet or pleasant scent Synonym-aroma Antonym-odor -The fragrance that was coming out of the kitchen was irresistible.

  5. Furtive(adj.) -Sneaky; acting in a way so as not to be noticed Synonym-stealthy Antonym-noticeable -The furtive fox crept across the road barely missing the truck.

  6. Grueling(adj.) -physically or mentally exhausting; very hard to do Synonym-challenging Antonym-effortless - Lifting the crates is a grueling job; that is why we left it for Henry.
