1. Community Based Scorecards • It’s a community based monitoringtool • Hybrid of the techniques of social audit, community monitoring and citizen report cards • It’s an instrument to exact social and publicaccountabilityand responsivenessfrom service providers • It’s a strong instrument for empowermentofcommunity in decision making processes.
Approximately 2,000 participants in approximately 110 meetings and open forums in seven targeted regions • About 91% of participants were women and girls.

6. Next steps… • Establishing mechanisms of dialogue with local government • Monitoring of the implementation of the jointly adopted action plan • Continuous advocacy with the relevant decision makers and public through media • Institutionalization of the process.
