Green Aspects • 35% of the steel used is recycled • 50% of concrete used is recycled fly ash from a local source • Bathroom tiles are made from recycled glass • Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC)’s were limited as much as possible • Lobby floor covering is made from cork • Wallboards are made out of 90% gypsum • Wall covering are made from grass

  4. Green Aspects - Flooring • Plenum (raised) flooring improves air flow and provides more efficient heating and cooling • Floor cutout provides educational opportunity
