Aims & Learning Outcomes Aim This workshop is designed to help participants: • recognise the main elements of what good and better practice looks like. • make links between Learner Voice and the contents of the 2012 Common Inspection Framework.
Aims & Learning Outcomes Learning Outcomes As a result of attending this workshop participants should be able to describe and explain: • the contents of a robust definition of Learner Voice • why Learner Voice is a significant process • different aspects of good and better learner voice practice • how Learner Voice activities link to specific aspects of the 2012 CIF • how the planned workshops will help provider staff with the opportunity to identify specific and significant ways in which Learner Voice processes can be improved.

What is Learner Voice? Learner voice: a working definition By ‘learner voice’ we mean: “The involvement of learners and ............ learners in shaping the learning opportunities that are ............ to them. It means ............ learners in reforming the lifelong learning system at all levels, by supporting them to act as ............ with policy makers, providers, ............ and other agencies. What is Learner Voice?
