Public Service Announcement Recycling is when you make something old into something new. Many people don’t recycle because they don’t realize how important it really is. When you don’t recycle you are just making our planet sicker. Polluting is a big problem too. The air we breathe, the water we drink is all polluted thanks to factories, cars, and other smoke producing items. So please try to reduce our foot print on the environment.

2-Liter Timer Making a hour glass out of a 2-liter soda bottle is actually not as hard as it sounds. All your going to need is some tape, two flat pieces of cardboard, sand, and of coarse the bottle. First cut the bottle in half with the help of an adult. This will give the body of the hour glass. Take a knife and poke a hole in the cap and on the bottom half of the bottle. Then tape them together by the cap. Tape one piece of cardboard to one side then fill with sand. Tape the other piece of cardboard to that side. Then flip, and you have an hour glass.
The 3 R`s The three R`s of recycling are: REDUCE, REUSE, and RECYCLE. If I could I would make a fourth R. It would be REPEAT. If you repeat you would be recycling double the amount you usually would! That would make the world like a billion times better. REDUSE, REUSE, RECYCLE, REPEAT
Making a Difference These are some examples of what to and where to recycle. When you are at home you could have your special blue or green can where you can put all of your recyclable materials in. At school your school district should invest in recycling cans. In your communities you could get involved in environmental cleanup groups.
Did You Know… If half the Earths paper was recycled 20 million acres of forest would be saved. That’s amazing! The average American throws out 35 billion plastic bottles a year. Only 25% of plastic in America is recycled! 1 ton of recycled paper would save about 17 trees. WOW!
