Purpose: To Site a New Arts and Sciences Building • The proposal is to review the Master Plan of the University of North Alabama and determine the best location for this building using G.I.S. analysis. • To review the history of the campus and see its growth over time (student/faculty population, building use, etc).

  5. Process • Determine the current building use on campus • Examine the changes that have been made to the campus in the past • Discuss the possible areas of the campus available for change • Determine the best location for the new building

  6. Proposed Site 3 Proposed Site 2 Legend Buildings Administrative Athletic Student Centers Proposed Site 1 UNA Today • Replace Morrison Avenue and Wesleyan Avenue with pedestrian walkways. • Insert the Parking Deck • Delete the Parking places that were eliminated by construction

  7. UNA Tomorrow New Sciences Facility • Create new layers for the footprints of new buildings • Updated UNA Roads File and created the roads around Wesleyan Hall.

  8. Eliminate Mathematics Building Temporary Relocate Math and Computer Science Build a 4 story Science Facility in the place Spend estimated $1 Million on Complete Renovation of Floyd Science Building Proposal to Site a New Building Proposed Sciences Facility
