  1. ARCH (Accessing Resources 4 Consumer Health)

  2. Welcome to ARCH Committee members: Joey Wynn Broward House John Marangio Skyemed Pharmacy Brad Gammel Poverello Lisa Agate (chair) Minority Development and Empowerment, Inc.

  3. Goal of ARCH To enhance communication and improve access to resources for people living with HIV/AIDS in Broward County through the creation of a “consumer” focused information portal.

  4. Current Initiative To create an electronic mechanism (email, web site, text) and central access point to expand and improve the dissemination of agency/entity generated information on programs, services and resources to all persons enrolled

  5. Collaboration • ARCH will partner with the AIDS Institute (AI) • AI will "host" the site and facilitate the dissemination of information

  6. What the service “can” do • Through collaboration with the AIDS Institute, consumers will have increased access to updated program information including, but not limited to: changes in program requirements for Care and Treatment, CM, Outreach Dental Care, Support Group Information. Health Care Reform (what to expect), and changes in Federal program requirements (Social Security)

  7. What the service “cannot” do • Take the place of staying in contact with your Care Provider; • Be a direct contact for questions. Contact information will be provided for additional questions and comments; • Send out information for another agency; • Be a conduit for service complaints.

  8. Meetings Day and Time: 1st Tuesday of the month; 12:00pm Location: Poverello Annex, Wilton Manors For additional information contact: Lisa Agate lagate@mdeinc.org 954- 315-4530 x 209
