ESO Workshops 2006 Seven proposals received The following workshops have been selected (committee: Gilmozzi, Mirabel, Shaver): • Observing Planetary Systems (Dumas and Sterzik; to be held in Santiago) • Science with the VLT in the ELT era(Moorwood et al.) • Type II AGN at all epochs (DeBreuck, Fosbury and Vernet) • Star Clusters and Star Formation (Wilson and Kissler-Patig)

  3. Studentships Selection ongoing • proposal made in Garching • selection still pending in Chile Announcements hopefully by end of July
