  2. Open Product Release in DiME STEP 1: Open Release in Dime Release should be opened manually in DiME for product release ONLY 2

Product Release in DiME Open and update VRS Auto STEP 2: OpenRelease in VRS Manual VRS system should automatically open VRS’s for releases opened in DiME (according to a predefined schedule / period?) And prevent opening VRS for releases that are not in DiME All Release’s components are updated manually and approved in the VRS system 3

  4. Release in DiME Update components Version in DiME Update the VRS with components list Auto Auto STEP 3: Release update (automatic) Manual Manual When VRS is approved It should trigger the update to both directions (in addition to periodic updates) 4

  5. VRS checks integrity with DiME Auto Release integrity check Periodically (Nightly/Hourly???) The VRS system should check the open VRS components and check if they are consistent with those in DiME. In case of inconsistency – the mismatch should be fixed and a notification should be sent to the VRS notification list 5

  6. STF flow

  7. Open STF Get a list of DRs which were linked to the release but not to a build (STF) from DiME for the user to choose Auto Promote DRs to “Testing” when STF is locked in VRS STEP 1: Open STF in VRS Manual 7

  8. Release Closure

  9. Close Product Release in DiME STEP 1: Close Release in DiME Manual Only after release is closed in DiME (final state), VRS system enables closing VRS 9

  10. Close Product Release in DiME Verify Close release VRS STEP 2: CloseRelease in VRS Manual Manual Only after release is closed in DiME (final state), VRS system enables closing VRS 10

  11. Close Release in DiME Update components status in DiME Verify Close VRS Auto STEP 3: Release synch. (automatic) Manual Manual Verification: All components in a state which can be closed When VRS is requested to be closed it should trigger the update in both directions. Only after update is completed successfully the VRS is locked 11
