  3. 7/30/07 - 8/24/07 Extract Issues • Issue:  ERCOT experienced delays with the posting of data extracts.   • Notice Date: 7/31/07 • Market Notice: M-B073107-01 • Root Cause: Related to MID/MIR process • Resolution: Two SIRs to address: 11495 and 11500; currently in iTest. Also creating a project to analyze the current architected solution and modify where necessary.

  4. 7/30/07 - 8/24/07 Extract Issues • Issue:  Missing Extract Data • Notice Date: 8/6/07 • Market Notice: M-A080107-03 • Root Cause: Interval data parser was marking the header data as parsed prior to completing the parsing of the interval data records. The July 29, 2007 extract issue was due to the control record used by the extract process for the January 26, 2007 trade date not being created. • Resolution: Implemented configuration changes relating to the number of DBMS jobs and the parser threshold. Ran manual parser for a certain block of records to “catchup”.

  5. 7/30/07 - 8/24/07 Extract Issues • Issue:  TDSP ESIID Full Extracts for RELIANT_HLP, ONCOR_ELEC and CPL ENERGY • Notice Date: 8/10/07 • Market Notice: R-B081007-01 Extracts – Retail • Root Cause: Market Participants attempting to open the TDSP ESIID Full Extracts for RELIANT_HLP, ONCOR_ELEC and CPL ENERGY which posted on August 7, 2007 received an error message.  The error message received was caused by corrupted files being posted on August 7, 2007 for these three TDSP ESIID Full Extracts. Related to MID/MIR process. • Resolution: Creating a project to analyze the current architected solution and modify where necessary.

  6. 7/30/07 - 8/24/07 Extract Issues • Issue:  The Settlements and Billing Extract posted for the Initial Settlement of Operating Day July 27, 2007 contained incorrect settlement data. • Notice Date: 8/13/07 • Market Notice: W-A081307-01   Extracts – Wholesale • Root Cause: The Statement and Lodestar had the correct values. The extract had the original value. This trade date was initially settled on Saturday,8/4/07. However, a mistake was made and ERCOT had to backout and rerun this trade date on Monday, 8/6/07. The mistake made was for RMR only, which is why only incorrect data for RMR bill determinants were displayed. Because the 24 hour window for the ODS had passed on Sunday, 8/5/07, the LDC table had to be manually updated to insure the old values did not go out in the extract. • Resolution: The Settlements and Billing Extracts were recreated with the corrected data and posted on 8/13/07. Perform additional analysis to determine an effective process for times when the LDC date changes need to occur.

  7. 7/30/07 - 8/24/07 Extract Issues • Issue:  ERCOT ESIID Service History & Usage Extract omitted MeterType=K4 information April 19, 2007 through August 15, 2007. ERCOT ESIID Service History & Usage Extract also omitted Delete Rows in the ESIIDUSAGE_DELETE file between April 19, 2007 and August 15, 2007. • Notice Date: 8/15/07 and 8/24/07 • Market Notice: R-B081507-01 & 02 Extracts - Retail   • Root Cause: ERCOT has identified that usage data records have been omitted from the ESIID Service History & Usage Extract from April 19, 2007 through August 15, 2007.  In addition to usage data records for MeterType=K4(kVa) being omitted from the ESIID Service History & Usage Extract from April 19, 2007 through August 15, 2007, the ESIIDUSAGE_DELETE file omitted the corresponding Delete Rows.  • Resolution: The usage data records for MeterType= K4 (kVa) will be included in the extract as of 8/16/07. A supplementary extract file was posted to TML on 8/16/07 containing the current usage records with MeterType=K4.ERCOT has implemented a patch and supplementary extract files which contain the Deletes posted on 8/24/07 at approximately 12:00 PM.

  8. Additional Activities • Generate SIRs as needed to stabilize production • Two SIRs currently in iTest to address recent MID/MIR issues • Project being established through MO/RO CART to analyze MID/MIR architecture • Establish development team to focus on production stabilization
