  2. Keasta - The FBLA’s Angel The Salvation Army’s “Adopt a Child Program” is an amazing way to help children who don’t really have the best Christmas . Keasta, age 9, was our Christmas angel. I had the opportunity to oversee this special project for FBLA. I truly felt like Keasta was someone I have known for a long time, even though I never met her. The Lee High School FBLA raised $134.00 to help her have a wonderful Christmas. When I picked up her angel card it stated the size of clothing she wears and the toys she wants. Of course, the first thing I bought her was a bike because that is what she wanted. She got a brand new purple bike and a helmet to match. I then spent two days trying to find her the cutest outfit I could find. Every little girl deserves an adorable outfit. With the rest of the money, Keasta got a pair of pants, a shirt, a pair of shoes, some nail polish, lip gloss, a hair kit with a brush, hair bows and clips, and of course, a mirror. Since she got a brand new outfit, Keasta deserved some new undergarments. Even after all that, we still had $10 left over. This money went into an envelope for Keasta to find, and use on whatever she wanted. Adopting Keasta, even for a couple days, was an amazing experience for me. I definitely have a new Christmas tradition.
