  2. Objectives • Be able to obtain relevant history of disease and trauma affecting musculoskeletal system • Be able to perform proper clinical examination of the musculoskeletal system for orthopedic and trauma

  3. Objectives • Able to request appropriate investigations to help reaching a diagnosis of common musculoskeletal trauma and common orthopedic diseases • Understand the basic principles of management of common fractures and dislocations and common orthopedic diseases

  4. Duration • Total: six weeks: • Two weeks theoretical knowledge and tutorials • Four weeks clinical rotation in hospitals • Outpatient, inpatient, operating room, cast room,… • Includes one day / week in the college (Sunday) • Tutorials, practicing history taking, clinical examination, and case scenarios for management

  5. Assessment • 30% Written: MCQs • 10% at end of first two weeks (7 topics) • 20% at end of rotation (all topics) • 70% Clinical: • OSCE • Clinical scenarios • Slide show
