  1. Recap Clamp Install @ 1008 and Production RIKEN/RBRC Itaru Nakagawa

  2. More Clamps Installed in IR Installed upto 28 clamps to North St.3 and monitored drawing currents for a week. Basically clamps didn’t add much drawing current up to humidity of 60+a %.

  3. Action Items from Review (I) Reported in the June DC meeting Test bench using St-1 test chamber. • AC readout Clamp channel not in contact w/ pad Clamp channel in contact w/ pad Input AC pulse from Cathode In order to see clear difference between connected/unconnected channels, the connection between clamp and GND needs to be modified.

  4. AC Readout HV side GND side DC Voltage Readout HV side GND side One AC readout clamp will be available for test on June 15th. AC Voltage Readout

  5. AC Readout Test @ 1008 Readout AC (not connected) Readout AC (connected) Difference is 1/3 but it is kind of touchy Input AC Input AC

  6. Plan for AC readout • We need to sit down and thoroughly repeat the AC readout measurement @ test bench. • Pin down why we pickup AC signal even in non-connected channels. • We’ll test AC readout again in 1008 in August. • Move on to Production with AC readout design.

  7. Action Items from Review II • 1 Week Humidity test

  8. Action Items from Review III 3kV Rated Capacitors being used for ~ 1.9kV Operation. Should be verified reliability. • Capacitors DEBB33F101K (Prototype) DEHR33F151K (Production) DEB DEH Last longer (reliable) Generating Heat DEA DEA1X3F101J Size of Capacitor 150pF 150pF 100pF Space constraint prevent from employing DEA model. -> DEH

  9. Production Status Assembly of base and print board will be done by Students manpower@ RIKEN.

  10. Recap Assembly Trying to get quotes from several companies. Expecting bidding from a couple of companies above. Three companies are qualified to bid (Rank >= C).

  11. Print Board Assembly Production Schedule • Procurement : 7/13 ~ 7/29 • Judge & Order : ~ 8/7 • Production (560 clamps) : • Getting Materials (1 ~ 1.5 Month) • Assembly (1 ~ 2 Months) • Delivery to RIKEN (Oct.14) • (Parylene?) Coating (1~ 2 weeks, End of Oct.) • Assembly and QA@RIKEN (2weeks) • Shipping to BNL (1week, Mid~End of November)
