  3. Many people receive advice in life, but sadly only the wise profit by it.Ian Loughor-Clarke Being prosperous or not; it is in your hands.

  4. 1. Reprogramming your mindset It is better to have a hen tomorrowthan an egg today. Thomas Fuller 1732 Haggai 2:8 (NIV) 8 ‘The silver is mine and the gold is mine,’ declares the Lord Almighty.

  5. 2. Knowledge, understanding and wisdom are the 3 ingredances needed to become wealthy. To become wealthy you need basically three things: • The knowledge of what to do and; • Understanding. • The discipline/wisdom to practice the things to be done.

  6. Proverbs 4:7 (NIV) 7Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you haveget understanding. Proverbs 24:3–4 3 By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; 4 through knowledgeits rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures

  7. The secret to success in anything is applied truth. Being prosperous or not; it is in your hands.

  26. Bill Big Sam SmallThe question is: Is it better to buy big or small?

  27. Bill Big R125,000 at 10% interest for 30 years. Financing R115,000. His payments are R1 000 a month for 30 years, so he pays R360 000 for His R125 000 home.

  28. Sam Small R70 000 at 10% interest for 7 years. Financing R60 000. His payments are R1 000 a month for 7 years.

  29. Sam Sold his home for R70 000 after 7 years. Took his R70 000 and bought a R125 000 home next to Bill Big. Financing R55 000 (R125 000 minus R70 000) for 7 additional years at 10%.

  30. His new payments were R 913 per month. After 7 years, Sam owned hisR125 000 home, debt free. He had paid a total of R160 692 for it, including interest. 7 years at R1 000/ month = R 84,000 7 years at R 913/ month = R 76,692 R 160,692

  31. Sam Small paid R 160,692 Finished paying for both properties in 14years. Bill Big sill had 16 years to go on his payment at R1000/month.

  36. 5. Grow what you have little by little Proverbs 13:1111 Dishonest money dwindles away, but he who gathers money little by little makes it grow.
