Please join the SunSpec Tracker Standard Initiative • The SunSpec Alliance (www.sunspec.org) is trade association of 60+ global companies defining information standards for the solar PV industry. SunSpec has published 10 successful specifications for solar components--including standards for inverters, meters, modules, storage, and environmental systems--and is now launching a new workgroup to establish a standard for trackers. Like all SunSpec Alliance specification initiatives, this effort is member driven. Array Technologies http://arraytechinc.com/, a pioneer in solar tracking for over 20 years, will be leading this project.  • To help launch the tracker effort, SunSpec will be hosting a free informational webinar to discuss this technical initiative. Please join us on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 8 AM Pacific Standard Time to learn about participating in this important effort.  • Agenda • * Intro to the SunSpec Alliance and our standards development methodology • * Overview of SunSpec Tracker standard strawman proposal • * Invitation to join the SunSpec standardization effort • The SunSpec Alliance is seeking participation from industry stakeholders and we need your input. All SunSpec standards are all freely available to the public, thus ensuring broad distribution and adoption by customers worldwide.
