  2. Once everything is settled and a divorce is completed, you are left with the aftermath of it. The next thing you want to do is change your name. This is something most people (usually women) do after a divorce. Here is how you can change your name after a divorce in Utah, step by step.

  3. Getting a Marriage Certificate One way of changing your name after a divorce is through your marriage certificate. Here what you have to do: ● Apply for your marriage licenses at the county clerk’s office ● Pay a $40 filing fee ● Receive a signed marriage certificate The next step is changing your name on all your identification documents and records. This includes your: ● State ID ● Driver’s license ● Social security number

  4. Start by changing one of them. Since you are going to need your car to drive to and from work, you can start with the driver’s license first.
