Welcome to Concordia University St. Paul! You have selected CSP to start your PSEO journey and we welcome you to our campus community. In preparation for the start of the academic year please review this powerpoint. You will receive information on: • CSP Network Accounts • CSP Policies • CSP Campus Resources and Campus Involvement
Your Role as a PSEO Student • All courses are CSP courses. You are earning college credit. You must follow the policies and procedures of CSP. • These grades will be on your permanent college transcript. • As a CSP student, you have access to all CSP support services • You are invited to attend all athletic, fine arts or other events for students on campus!
CSPConnect & Blackboard • Utilize your CSPConnect and Blackboard account to view your classes, track of your grades, and more! • You can find CSP events and University announcements on the ‘CSPConnect’ tab • A week before the start of classes your courses will populate in the ‘My Blackboard’ and the ‘Courses’ tab
CSP Gmail Your CSP Student Gmail is the official form of communication that instructors and staff will use to communicate with you after you begin classes. It’s important that you make sure you are able to access your inbox and check your messages often. If you are asked to meet the 2 step verification guidelines please reach out to CSP’s IT Helpdesk at helpdesk@csp.edu, 651-641-8866.
CSP’s Academic Policies & Important Dates As a PSEO Student it is important to to understand CSP’sSatisfactory Academic Progress Policy and that all students are expected to: • Maintain a minimum of a 2.0 GPA • Successfully complete at least 67% of credits attempted Review CSP’s Academic Calendar to see important dates related to holiday breaks and deadlines for changing courses
Withdrawl Dates • If you need to withdraw from any of your courses, you will need to contact your Guidance Counselor • CSP has drop deadlines for dropping courses without record (typically up to the 11th day after classes start) • Fall 2019 W/D Deadlines: http://catalog.csp.edu/university-information/tuition-fees/#refundpolicytext
FERPA FERPA is the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, which affords certain rights to students including PSEO Students concerning the privacy of, and access to, their education records (including grades, billing, tuition and fees assessments, and financial aid). Your privacy is important, and Concordia University abides by all state and federal privacy laws. The CSP website provides details of our school’s Privacy Policy. FERPA restrictions apply to, but are not limited to parents, spouse, and or a sponsor. Proxy Access If you wish, you may choose to complete the Concordia Proxy Access, which allows for the release of your education records to specified third parties (through viewing on the Concordia Proxy Access web pages, over the phone or via email.) You must separately authorize each third party to whom you wish to grant access. For more information, contact, refer to the CSP Student Policies Handbookor send an email to registrar@csp.edu.
Title IX (NINE) Every CSP student has the right to learn in a safe, supportive, respectful environment. To that end, any form of discrimination – including sexual discrimination – will not be tolerated. Title IXis a federal civil rights law passed as part of the Education Amendments of 1972. Title IX protects CSP students, employees, and others from all forms of sex discrimination, including: • Sexual Harassment • Sexual Assault • Dating Violence • Domestic Violence • Stalking • Gender / Sex Discrimination • Lewd or Indecent Behavior • Sexual Misconduct For more information on the reporting process or who you can make your reports to visit CSP Title IX or directly use the Report Form

Concordia offers over 30 clubs including major specific, identity based, special interest, and faith based. Clubs are a great way to get involved on campus, develop leadership skills, and meet new friends. PSEO students are encouraged to get to involved to take advantage of a full CSP student experience. Get Microsoft Office 365 As a Concordia PSEO student, you have FREE access toMicrosoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook) on up to five devices! Here’s how you can access it: • Go to theHelp Desk link • Scroll down and click on the Office 365 Signup Form • Submit your information • You will receive an email within 2-3 business days from Microsoft containing a username, password and website where you can download Office 365 • Use the provided login information after clicking on the link sent in the email
