  3. How do you use iWeb • Create a new site • Choose a template • Select a placeholder and fill in content Steps:

  5. Extras • Photo slideshow • Widgets • YouTube • Google Map • HTML Snippet • Add your own HTML code

  6. Publishing Site • Click on the cloud icon and choose how you want to publish • MobileMe • You need and account with Apple • FTP Server • If you want to publish to a web hosting site

  7. Publishing Site • Local Folder • Choose this for a UTEP College of Engineering web site. If need space for your organization contact Al Martinez (amartinez49@utep.edu) • Choose site name • Choose folder location • Map drive to be used

  8. In “Finder” menu bar click “Go” and select “Connect to Server” • Type in “smb://serveraddress” • Click “Connect” • If outside UTEP’s network, VPN is needed for previous steps

  9. Type in the URL for your site • Finally click on “Publish Site” icon and read the “Content Rights” box, then click on “Continue” • Enjoy your new site
