Supporting Facts • Customer satisfaction surveys show a reallocation is appropriate. • Workload indicators show an inappropriate allocation of staff among ADOs.

Benefits of Proposed Realignment • More appropriate distribution of ADO resources to match workload. • Opportunity for the NYC ADO (73), WAS ADO (68) and HAR ADO (70) to improve their customer service results, without negatively impacting the BEK (90) results. • PANYNJ airports unaffected by realignment. • NJ State Aviation has significant interactions with PA and DE State Aviation. .
Implementation Plan To This Point 4 June 2007 - Briefed ADO Managers - Briefed NATCA/PASS for Input. - Briefed AEA-1. 11-15 June 2007 - Briefed HAR and NYC ADO. 25 June 2007 - Briefed NJ State Aviation Director 26 & 27 June 2007 - Briefed ARP-1, AEA-1, NATCA/PASS, & Employees on Feedback Adjustments. 11 September 2007 - Sent Letter Notifying NJ Sponsors of Plan. 26 –27 September 2007 - Meet With NJ Sponsors To Discuss Transition Plan and introduce HAR ADO contacts.
Transition Plan • NYC ADO continues handling AIP grants opened before October 07 until closure (113 grants), except for phased projects and new planning grants (approximately 5 grants). • HAR ADO takes FY 08 programs (Airspace/NEPA/AIP/PFC) for 32 NPIAS sponsors effective October 07 (start of FY 08). • HAR ADO will sponsor NJ workshops in FY08. • Sponsors to be surveyed in a year and on a case by case basis to see how the transition is proceeding. Appropriate adjustments will be made.
