3. Motivational interviewing principles (using strengths, reinforcing self-efficacy, and reinforcement of change talk/behaviors) guides to group members to see beyond their mental illness
Person center treatment planning meets the group member where they are in the change process and is open to their personal interpretation of recovery
Experiential processes allow exploration of personal recovery goals
Group members have insight into problems but path in the change process is different What We Have Found
