Oklahoma Turnpike Authority Proposal No. _____ Contract No. CKT-1345B BROKEN ARROW SOUTH LOOPBRIDGES • The work to be performed under Contract Number CKT-1345B consists of constructing Section 5 bridges which are predominantly dual three span structures. These bridges carry vehicular traffic over major and secondary roads, and a Union Pacific Railroad. The bridges utilize concrete deck on prestressed concrete beams consisting of AASHTO Type II (2309 LF), III (2677 LF), IV (1136 LF) and BT-72 (3,650 LF). The bridge substructures utlize integral and stub abutments founded on steel H-piles along with concrete bent frame piers founded on drilled shafts and spread footings. The horizontal and vertical alignment of bridges consist of both tangents and curves.
