  16. Instruments • Transport • Via Penske Truck to/from airport • Packing • Instruments will be packed immediately following the final pre-tour rehearsal

  17. Contact information • Modified phone tree if needed for late arrivals or other significant changes • Mike Norris will be state-side contact • The Setleys will have an international chip in their phone • All students will be provide with a wallet card with pertinent information and contacts

  18. Travel Tips and Updates • Pack lightly!! Maximum of 51 lbs. • Weigh your contents and reduce as necessary • Remember that you need to leave room for souvenirs • Travel knits and cotton are lightweight and easily washable in the hotel room

  19. Remember any liquids over 3 ounces must be packed in checked luggage • You will need a QUART sized bag for your carry on cosmetics, meds, etc…. Cannot be larger!- no water bottles • Fyi.. European hotels do not usually provide washcloths. We suggest purchasing a pack of cheap washcloths at Walmart, Target, etc and leaving them behind

  20. 1 carry on/person allowed • This is additional for students with small instruments such as violins • Suggest that flutes and other small instruments be packed in checked luggage • Snacks: OK to pack p-butter crackers, granola bars, etc in checked luggage for longer days… must be non-perishable
