  2. The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International promotes professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education.

  3. Responsibilities of Personal Growth & Services Committee are found in: Constitution Handbook Official Manual Chapter By-laws

  4. Purposes: Purpose 1 • To unite women educators of the world in a genuine spiritual fellowship. Purpose 6 • To stimulate the personal and professional growth of members and to encourage their participation in appropriate programs of action, Purpose 7 • To inform the members of current economic, social, political, and educational issues so that they can participate effectively in a world society.

  5. Texas State PG&S Committee Goals To provide information to our members and local community about women’s health issues; To promote healthy lifestyle practices, especially about living in a more environmentally friendly world by joining community “green” projects; To encourage members to enrich their personal lives and professional skills by participating in life-long learning;

  6. Texas State PG&S Committee Goals • To promote women in all fields of the Arts; • To continue to develop relationships with our neighboring DKG members and teachers in Mexico, • To promote projects that benefit one’s community.

  7. Duties of this Committee: Set goals Serve on the POW Committee Collaborate with members of your committee Consider projects Recommend projects to chapter Anticipate expenses

  8. Duties of this Committee: Facilitate chapter projects Communicate in chapter newsletter Publicize your projects Maintain a file Attend Area Workshop Attend State Convention Develop a closer feeling of friendliness and empathy
