The jubilee & shmittah cycles Many scholars and Bible chronologists believe that Joseph’s seven years of plenty and seven years of famine were right in line with the counting of the Sabbatical year cycle and the Jubilee How does it work? These same Chronologists also believe that 2011 to 2008 was right in line with the counting of the Sabbatical years with the last seven years before the Jubilee happening between 2008 and 2015.
