Basic systems and functionalities The editorial system • The setting up of standardized "editors workbenches" meets the special requirements of the Austrian Trade Union Federation and its member unions: • authors can search in the common information data base (Content Base). Internal Information as well as external information (e.g.: Austria Presse Agentur – news items are at their disposal) • each author can produce articles with the possibility of adding pictures, links, multimedia-files,.. • as in a daily newspaper the author has no influence on formatting: the layout of the article depends on the layout defaults of the website, where the article will be published.
