FHWA Mini-Roundabouts: Project Background • Single-Lane and Multiple-Lane Roundabouts have been successfully deployed Worldwide and in the US • Mini-Roundabouts have been successfully deployed outside the US. • Less than 10 “TRUE” Mini-Roundabouts in the US (to the best of our current knowledge) • FHWA leading research efforts to promote successful deployment of Mini-Roundabouts in the US

FHWA Mini-Roundabouts: Project Scope • Assess FIVE Existing Sites and Identify Good and Poor Design Elements • Prepare Design Templates for Agencies • Solicit TEN NEW Implementations • Conduct Before/After Evaluations of the TEN New Implementations • Develop Marketing Videos and Technical Reports
FHWA Mini-Roundabouts: YOUR SUPPORT SOLICITED • Publicize the Project • Implement or convince Agencies to Implement TEN (10) Mini-Roundabouts in the next 24 months as part of the FHWA project
