  2. Remember God’s Law • Moses warned the Israelites not to forget God’s law (Deut. 6:5-9) • They obviously forgot (2 Kin. 22:8-13) • The Pharisees did a better job following Deut. 6:5-9 (Matt. 23:5) • They didn’t remember God’s law though, they just wore it (Matt. 23:23-24, 27-28)

  3. Remember God’s Law • Moses warned the Israelites not to forget God’s law (Deut. 6:5-9) • They obviously forgot (2 Kin. 22:8-13) • The Pharisees did a better job following Deut. 6:5-9 (Matt. 23:5) • We need to both keep God’s law before us and apply it daily (Col. 3:16; Heb. 2:1; John 8:31-32)

  4. Remember What God Has Done For Us • Moses warned the Israelites not to forget what God had done for them (Deut. 8:10-20) • God brought Israel out of Egypt • The Passover (Ex. 13:3-10) • The Israelites forgot (2 Kin. 23:21-22)

  6. Remember What God Has Done For Us • Moses warned the Israelites not to forget what God had done for them (Deut. 8:10-20) • God brought Israel our of Egypt • God gave them the promise land • God forgave and delivered them. • Ebenezer (1 Sam. 7:12) • They forgot (1 Sam. 8:7, 18-20)

Remember What God Has Done For Us • Moses warned the Israelites not to forget what God had done for them (Deut. 8:10-20) • God brought Israel out of Egypt • God gave them the promise land • God forgave and delivered them. • We need to remember what the Lord has done for us (1 Chron. 29:16; James 1:17; 1 Thess. 5:18; Col. 4:2)

Remember Who We Used To Be • Moses warned the Israelites not to forget how they had rebelled against the Lord (Deut. 9:7) • The golden calf at Mount Sinai (vs. 8) • The 12 spies at KadeshBarnea (vs. 23-24) • The Passover was instituted to remind the Israelites where they would be without God. • We need to remember where we would be without Christ (Eph. 2:1-7, 11-13)
