  2. EXECUTIVE TRINITY COUNCILLORS 2011-12 There are 40 Trinity council members in total (Tyreese)

  3. What is a school council? A school council is a group of people elected by you to represent your views and improve the school and raise issues; a group of students making decisions. We have consideration and respect for other people’s views, we are given no privileges as the student body should be seen as all equal. (David)

  4. Your voice This society is full of people who don’t like the way things are run/or don’t like what is happening and yet they don’t do anything about it. School council is about representing your opinions and raise your issues. Your voice. For example: • Assemblies • School dinners • Songs in worship.etc We also plan projects on behalf of you. For example, art competitions (Matthew)

  5. Anonymous box Trinity council have come up with idea to have an anonymous box. The anonymous box is for you (students), where you can place your suggestions and the trinity councilor from your tutor group will bring it up in the school council meeting. And guess what?... the best part is that we don’t have to know who you are. There will be one anonymous box for every tutor room. (Frankie / Ruby)

  6. Anonymous box competitions Trinity council have decided to involve the students in an anonymous box competition. As a tutor group you need to bring as many boxes to school as you can(a good example is a shoe box). The tutor groups with the highest number of boxes will get a mystery prize. The deadline is Friday 2nd December 2011. To avoid cheating, Gabriel will count Michael, Michael will count Zadkiel, Zadkiel will count Raphael and Raphael will count Gabriel. May the best the house win (Karen)

  7. From us to you Your school council will pass on information from school council onto you so that you are aware of the things that are taking place. Then you are able to stand for / against it. (Vanessa)

  8. House competitions School council have organized some house competitions to keep you interested and not like a zombie (doing the same thing every day). These include: • M2 Art competition(best house logo and slogan) • Mystery prize for best logo for each house, and prize for best overall logo. • It needs to be handed to Lavanya (10MJCR) by Wednesday 7th December 2011 • L1 Cookery competition • L2 sports / gym competition • T1 – poetry / short story competition • T2 Maths challenge (Jason)
