  3. The Current Scenario • Top ‘IT’ cities among the best in the world • Most firms, corporate and Govt. bodies are automating their systems • Technology reaching greater and greater heights How much technology has changed the life of a rickshaw puller????

  4. The Solution • Build software that they can operate • Give them education to use the software • Give them resources to get access to software • Give them software that change their lives And not to forget • Let them know what all technologies exist

  7. About SF-FOSS The Free / Open Source Software (FOSS) movement stands for full freedom for the production, distribution, modification and use of software as per the needs and wishes of the user. The Students’ Forum for Free Open Source Software (SF-FOSS) was established by the institute with the sole purpose of promoting software development as well as contributing to the society as a whole.
