How can visuals be designed to influence student learning?  • Arrangement – establish an underlying pattern • Balance – a psychological sense of equilibrium • Color – use harmoniousness colors • Appeal – captures and holds the viewers attention • Legibility– insure that all views can see the words and images • Universal design – accommodates learners with a variety of learning levels, including disabilities and special talents Heather Roots
