Where the culture was located • The culture is located in the city of Venice started in the San Marco square of Venice.

Name of the festival • The festival that this mask was first in was when the SerenissimaRepubblica won its victory against the Patriarch Aquileia. People started to dance in the San Marco Square because they wanted to celebrate this victory. Also the Santo Stefano, the December 26th and to the start of the shrove Tuesday.
Meaning or symbolism • These carnivals started because of a war so that it was made because they wanted to honor the winning of the war and also to remember the deaths of the other people. This symbolizes the victory against the Patriarch Aquileia.
How the masks are made • They can be made by leather, porcelain and simple in design but they can be made with gold leaf designs and wear half masks. They can be started with some of the Paper Mache and also some acrylic paint on it. It will be molded by the sculptors and the done.
